DERMOT MULRONEY ('My Best Friend's
Wedding', 'Inhale', 'Must Love Dogs') and MIRA SORVINO ('Reservation Road',
'Like Dandelion Dust', and 'Mighty Aphrodite', for which she won an Oscar),
co-star in 'Trade Of Innocents'. This project, set against the backdrop of
the heart-breaking reality of human trafficking in Southeast Asia, wrapped
production on April 13th, and was completed December 1st in Los Angeles.
Sorvino, a UN Goodwill Ambassador, is
well-schooled in the realities of human trafficking and brings her great
talent, knowledge and passion to highlight this issue worldwide through this
action/drama. Equally, Mulroney brings incredible talent, toughness and
tenderness to this story of a couple, grieving the loss of their own daughter,
who set out to rescue young girls sold into slavery.
